If you currently compete in showing classes are there any changes you would like to see going forward?
2.
There have been discussions in 2024 to look at where, if possible, there could be more unification of Rules across organisations. Further discussions are planned for 2025. Is this something which you feel would be of benefit and why?

If you answered YES to Q2, please suggest areas which you feel could be the same across all organisations or need attention e.g. "Novice classification", "the use/type of whips" etc.

Some Society Amateur Rules do not permit someone to be a Judge and compete as an Amateur. Would you agree with this Rule and like to see it the same for all Society Amateur Classes?
4.
The Showing Council facilitated and agreed the first united Welfare Policy for Showing which all Member Bodies are currently agreed upon. With this in mind, and as a way to also grow the novice opportunities available, it has been suggested that 4 year olds should not be permitted to compete in RIHS or HOYS qualifiers; is this something you would support?
5.
If you currently Judge / Steward / Officiate at Shows, do you have your own Personal Accident Insurance in place?
6.
If you currently Judge / Steward / Officiate at Shows, are you aware of the insurance position you are in, i.e. what insurance is in place to cover you should there be an accident and, what the benefits are and how that would work in practice?
7.
If you currently compete at Shows, and own a horse/pony, do you have public liability insurance in place should there be an accident involving your horse/pony?
